Avatar announces 2021 U.S. tour

Avatar has announced a lengthy headlining tour of the United States that will keep Swedish metalheads on the road for nearly two months. The band released their latest album, Hunter Gatherer, last year, and now the theatrical act will finally be able to perform the songs in front of a live audience.

The tour, dubbed “Going Hunting”, will begin September 1 in Albany, New York, and end with a performance on October 18 in Seattle.

“We’ve announced a lot of tours over the years, and every time we say we couldn’t be more excited,” Avatar said in a collective statement. “Well, this is the tour that was supposed to be announced a year and a half ago. A year and a half that feels more like a lifetime.”

The group added, “To say we couldn’t be more excited is an understatement. Never before have we been so hungry and passionate about creating a show for you and for ourselves. We don’t leave anything behind. This show will be the most beautiful, angry, entertaining and honest production we have ever made. We do not spare anything. We live and die for it. We are going to “Go hunting!” “

Avatar will bring Magic Sword and Tallah for the ride. Tickets for the newly announced dates go on sale this Friday, June 11 at 10 a.m. local time, through Ticketmaster, with presales starting on Tuesday, June 8.
