Tiffany Haddish has been turning heads for her brutally honest stand-up for years. She talks about her upbringing in foster care, living in her car during her rise of the open mics and even when working with Kevin Hart at the Comedy Playground. Watching Tiffany haddish succeeding in such amazing ways, from nightclubs to feature films, has been an inspiration to millions of people chasing their dreams. I call it Oprah 2.0.
Like many people who have been through and are dealing with the pandemic, she took the time to assess her goals, one being to get back to her high school physique, and in true Haddish style, she brought it on. . She is ready ! She recently shared that she started the tried and true way, with cardio like running on the beach, but found her way with virtual reality.
“I love my clothes are too big! … So at first I was like doing 15 minutes of running on the beach, stuff like that, on my Peleton. But then I got these Oculus glasses. . It’s been a game-changer. I’m a bit addicted to virtual reality and this app called Supernatural. You’re supposed to do 20 minutes a day. I’ll do the 20 minutes and maybe 10 minutes in the morning, then I want to start over. You feel like hitting those balls right, you feel like a samurai and good music is playing and then you flip and spin and stuff. You have to crouch down and you start to sweat like crazy.
His partner, actor and rapper Common says it’s not for him. Well, no matter what floats on your boat, these VR fitness routines have Haddish hooked! She said, “I look like a nutcase. I did it in front of my man one day and he said, ‘You look hilarious. “He said to me, ‘You are really in it.’ He doesn’t want to do it. “I don’t like it. It’s not my thing. I’d rather just do push-ups or a real workout. “
Haddish says the app helps him get his heart rate up in the 170s and that Common can laugh if he wants to. She loves the process and she wants to show the results! Oprah’s 2.0 moniker for Haddish is nothing new to the industry. She shares her ups and downs, her failures and the process of dusting herself off and getting back on horseback. Her photos are inspiring not only because of the weight loss but also the confidence she has gained and her willingness to inspire people to achieve their goals as well.
