Depending on the deadline, Game of thrones Veterinarian Sophie Turner has officially signed on to join their upcoming dark comedy film Foreigners, which will be led by Maya Hawke (Strange things) and Camila Mendès (Riverdale). Further details of her character are still being kept under wraps, but she is expected to appear for a cameo role. This marks the X Men the star’s first project with the streamer and her first movie role in nearly two years since appearing in 2019 Dark phoenix.
Turner was also recently featured in HBO’s True Crime Limited Series. The staircase, starring Colin Firth and Toni Collette. She will also lend her voice in HBO Max’s upcoming animated sitcom titled The prince.

Foreigners is described as a subverted Hitchockian black comedy starring the scariest protagonists of all: teenage girls. The film centers on Drew (Alpha, it girl) and Eleanor (beta, alt girl) who, after a clandestine-cute encounter, team up to take on each other’s bullies.
The film is directed by Jennifer Kaytin Robinson from a screenplay she co-wrote with Celeste Ballard. Robinson is best known for taking the streamer’s popular romantic comedy pic. Someone great. She has also co-wrote the screenplay for the highly anticipated Marvel Studios Thor: Love and Thunder, which is currently slated for a theatrical release in 2022.
