Apple TV + has released a brand new promotion for its 2021 Movies & TV roster, consisting of highly anticipated new content and returning original shows. The video provided us with our first images during the streamer’s upcoming shows, including The narrowing next door, Invasion, Schmigadoon! and Mr. Corman as well as a new look at Physical, and the long-awaited serial adaptation of Foundation.
The streamer’s new Summer 2021 promo, which you can check out below, also offered a preview of upcoming new seasons of Apple TV + originals such as The morning show, See, Ted lasso, The truth must be told, Trying and more with the first images of the acclaimed coming-of-age drama CODA, which won the main awards at this year’s Sundance Film Festival.

With Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd and Kathryn Hahn, The narrowing next door is a real-life dark comedy miniseries that details the bizarre relationship between celebrity psychiatrist Dr. Isaac “Ike” Herschkopf and his longtime patient Martin “Marty” Markowitz. The series will explore how a seemingly normal doctor-patient dynamic transforms into an unprecedented exploitative relationship filled with manipulation, empowerment, and dysfunction at its finest.
Mr. Corman marks Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s first major television project as a leader. It’s a half-hour-long comedy-drama that follows the story of a teacher from the San Fernando Valley who is still struggling with adulthood.
Based on the iconic sci-fi novels by Isaac Asimov that inspired films like Star wars, the series will chronicle the millennial saga of The foundation, a gang of exiles who discover that the only way to save the Galactic Empire from destruction is to challenge it. It will star Lee Pace and Jared Harris.

CODA (an acronym for Child of Deaf Adults) centers on 17-year-old Ruby, who is the only hearing member of a deaf family. Her life consists of acting as an interpreter for her parents and working on the family’s struggling fishing boat every day before school with her father and older brother. But when Ruby joins her high school choir, she discovers a knack for singing and soon finds herself drawn to her duet partner, Miles. Encouraged by her enthusiastic choir director and determined to apply to a prestigious music school, Ruby finds herself torn between the obligations she feels to her family and the pursuit of her own dreams.
The film stars Emilia Jones, Eugenio Derbez and Oscar-winning actress Marlee Matlin. He won several major awards at the 2021 Sundance Film Festival, including the American Jury Grand Prize and the American Dramatic Audience Award.
