The first trailer sees Loki interviewed by Owen Wilson’s character Mobius M. Mobius about what makes the God of Evil tick. More clips from the series are shown before a member of the Time Variance Authority calls Loki a “cosmic mistake,” setting the stage for the tone of the series.
In the second trailer, Loki is told what he needs to do to earn his second chance, which is to join the TVA and work with them to travel through different places in time to help keep the flow correct. It’s still unclear exactly what Loki will do once TVA grants him some freedom, but the delicate character still seems to have a trick up his sleeve.
Joining Hiddleston in Marvel Studios’ third MCU series is Sophia Di Martino (Yesterday, Flowers, In the Badlands), Owen Wilson (The Royal Tenenbaums), Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Black Mirror: San Junipero), Cailey Fleming (The Walking Dead) ), and Richard E. Grant (Can You Ever Forgive Me?), Sasha Lane (American Honey) and Wunmi Mosaku (Lovecraft Country).
