Jameela Jamil is Marvel Supervillain Titania in She-Hulk Disney + series

She-Hulk reportedly found her Titania in The Good Place star Jameela Jamil. Currently, production of the upcoming Disney + series is underway with Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters, aka the She-Hulk crime-fighting lawyer. The cast of the series continues to grow with a new report that Jamil has just joined the cast as villainous Titania, who serves as a rival to She-Hulk in the original Marvel Comics comics.

According to The Illuminerdi, information about the character’s casting had already been revealed when details leaked about five roles She-Hulk was seeking to play. At the time, one of the roles was codenamed “Lucy,” with the character being described as an opponent of Maslany’s Jennifer Walters. Now reported as Titania, the character of “Lucy” has been described as “a glamorous, Kardashian-esque social media influencer with a dark side”. It would be supposed to be in five to ten episodes.

Created by Jim Shooter and Mike Zeck, Titania made her Marvel Comics debut in 1984 in Secret Wars # 3. Originally, Titania was the name of a wrestler named Davida DaVito, but the supervillain name is much more associated with Mary MacPherran, the second person to use the nickname. Shy and shy, MacPherran was given superhuman powers from Doctor Doom, transforming her into Titania.
