Pooh Shiesty is behind bars today after surrendering to Miami authorities in connection with a shootout during an appearance at a strip club.
Pooh’s attorney Bradford Cohen told The Shade Room his client voluntarily surrendered on Tuesday afternoon but declined to comment further on the incident at this time.
It appears the Miami-Dade Police Department issued an arrest warrant for Pooh following a Memorial Day weekend shooting at the King of Diamonds, a popular northern strip club. west of Miami-Dade.
The 21-year-old rapper was held in Miami-Dade prison on Tuesday, just over a week after the shooting, on aggravated battery charge, according to prison records obtained by TSR.
According to an arrest warrant obtained by the Miami Herald, Pooh Shiesty is accused of shooting a security officer in the leg.
Numerous videos of the incident circulated on social networks. One video in particular reportedly showed Pooh Shiesty stepping out of a show at the club with a gun.
Pooh is currently being held without bail, but that will likely change after his first court appearance.
