Linda Carter has been at EastEnders since she and her husband Mick bought the Queen Vic from Phil Mitchell.
Linda saw plenty of drama during her time at Walford, from rape by her brother-in-law Dean Wicks to battling alcoholism.
She is currently dealing with an unexpected pregnancy and supports her husband Mick as he remembers the abuse he suffered as a child.
She has a lot on her plate!
Linda and Mick have four children, Lee, Nancy, Johnny and little Ollie. And Linda recently welcomed Mick’s daughter Frankie into their family.

Who plays Linda Carter in EastEnders?
Linda Carter is played by accomplished actress Kellie Bright.
She played Joan, the mother of Del Boy Trotter, in the Rock & Chips spinoff series of Only Fools and Horses. She also played Cassie Tyler in Bad Girls and Joanna Burrows in the sit-com The Upper Hand.
And she played the role of Julie alongside Sacha Baron Cohen in Ali G In Da House.
In 2015, Kellie reached the final of Strictly Come Dancing with her partner Kevin Clifton. But they were selected for the Glitter Ball Trophy by Jay McGuinness and Aliona Vilani.

Kellie is married to Paul Stocker and the couple have two sons.
Kellie is currently pregnant with their third baby, so she’ll be taking a break from EastEnders to go on maternity leave – does that mean big drama is on the horizon for Linda?
What happened with Linda Carter and Dean in EastEnders?
Linda took center stage in the Carter family stories when she was raped by Shirley’s son, Dean.
In hard-hitting scenes, Dean raped Linda and the struggling owner tried to fend for herself.
She found out that she was pregnant and was afraid the baby would be rapist Dean’s and not Mick’s.

Mick offered on Christmas Day and Linda turned it down – much to her surprise.
She finally told her husband the truth about what had happened – that Dean had raped her.
Although Dean tried to pretend that he and Linda had an affair, Mick was supportive and the couple started planning their wedding.

Linda was upset when police said she would not charge Dean due to lack of evidence, but was relieved when baby Ollie was born and it turned out that Mick was the baby boy’s father afterwards. all.

When Mick and Linda finally got married, in a fancy hotel with a lake in the park, things looked good for the Carts until Dean arrived.

Linda’s fight for justice for Mick
When Stuart Highway came to Walford, Linda didn’t like him. And she was right not to trust him because Stuart was causing all kinds of trouble for his family.
Mick urged Linda to leave Stuart because he had mistaken rap for Mick when they were children and had gone to a young offender institute. Linda agreed.
But Stuart linked Mick to his hobby of pedophile hunting and thanks to mistaken identities and Stuart’s desire for revenge, Mick ended up in jail charged with shooting Stuart.

Stuart had actually shot himself and framed Mick.
Determined to prove Mick’s innocence, Linda went to great lengths to deceive Stuart into believing they were in a relationship.
She even went so far as to seduce Stuart and secretly recorded him confessing to his crime.
When did Linda’s alcoholism start?
After Mick was released from prison, Linda began to drink to deal with stress.
Her drinking became more problematic and even led her to meddle in the Mitchells’ revenge on Keanu Taylor when she helped Martin Fowler stage Keanu’s murder.
Things got out of hand for Linda and in a highly acclaimed New Years Eve episode, the action followed the struggling mom as she got drunk at Karen Taylor’s party and ended up in a bedroom. hotel with a stranger.

Linda filed for divorce from Mick and it looked like it was over for the Carters.
But at the party on the boat in the series’ 35th anniversary episode, Linda got stranded when the boat crashed.

What happened with Linda and Max Branning?
When Frankie Lewis showed up to Walford, looking for Mick, whom she believed to be her father, she started more drama for the Carter family.
It turned out that Frankie’s mother Katy abused Mick when he was a child.
Mick’s own struggle to cope with the memories sparked by Frankie’s appearance meant he couldn’t share his issues with Linda.

Feeling rejected and oblivious to what Mick was going through, Linda turned to Max Branning for a shoulder to cry on.
The couple shared a connection, and ultimately a kiss. And Linda even gave Max an alibi when he was suspected of assaulting Ian Beale.
When a confused Mick told Linda to go see Max, she did.
But when she finally found out what her husband was going through, she told Max that there was no future for them and returned to Mick.

Now, however, Linda is pregnant and the baby isn’t Mick’s – it’s Max’s.
