When does Alex Jones go on maternity leave?

The BBC has yet to announce Alex’s last appearance on The One Show.

However, the host is preparing to leave in the coming months.

In a recent conversation with HELLO! magazine, the star revealed her maternity plans.

I’m gonna go and I’ll probably stay away

She told the publication: “The show takes a three-week summer hiatus every year and that hiatus will take place in August of this year.

“So I’m going to leave on this and I’ll probably stay away.” This is the plan. “

The star, who is currently in her third trimester, is due in late August.

Additionally, Alex also revealed that Ronan Keating and Jermaine Jenas will co-host the show together.

She then added, “Obviously during the pandemic we had a lot of people showing up with me like Rylan and Michael Ball and Alex Scott did. I think it’s going to be just a mix of all of those people who are quite familiar to our audience. “

Ronan and Jermaine were recently announced as the show’s permanent presenters last month.

However, it looks like some viewers will miss Alex on their TV screens.

After announcing her pregnancy, one of them said: “The only sad thing about your news is that we won’t see you for a few months.”

A second added: “Please confirm that you will be back on The One Show after maternity leave?”

ED! contacted the BBC for further comment.
