The Queen arrives at Royal Ascot for the first time this week as the crowd cheers

The Queen is at Royal Ascot today for the first time since the event began earlier this week.

On Saturday June 19, Her Majesty arrived on the last day of the event to the cheers and applause of the crowd.

The Queen, 95, beamed and waved at other runners as she looked stunning in a blue coat and matching hat.

She also had her black purse and white gloves.

Her Majesty was drawn into the races and the national anthem was played as many racing fans began to sing along.

As the Queen got out of her car, the crowd erupted into cheers and applause.

The monarch beamed as she greeted the administrators of Royal Ascot.

Viewers took to the Queen on Twitter, and many are thrilled to finally see her in person at the event.

One person said: “Fantastic to see Her Majesty The Queen getting on the right track before the last day of #Royal Ascot. “

Another wrote: “Hoh wonderful to see #His Majesty the #Queen the last day.

A third added: “The queen looks absolutely amazing!

One of them said, “WOW. I just got a little emotional there, watching Her Majesty The Queen arrive at Ascot and the crowd reaction. “

Why did Her Majesty not come earlier in the week?

It is not known why Her Majesty did not attend in person.

However, reports indicated that she watched the races each day on television.

Earlier in the week, Prince Charles, Camilla, Princess Anne and Prince Edward all attended the event.

In addition, Sophie, the Countess of Wessex and Zara Tindall arrived at the races.
