After being postponed for a year due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Summer Olympics are scheduled to begin on July 23, 2021 in Tokyo, Japan. Despite the well-documented health concerns of the locals, the games will continue. The opening ceremony for what is officially called the 2020 Olympics will take place at 7 a.m. EST in the United States. Millions of people will watch. The bigger question, then, is who will everyone watch in July? Over the course of two weeks, stars will be born in countries around the world. New sports will make their debut (karate, skateboarding, sport climbing, surfing), but the names will attract the most avid fans. We know Simone Biles will be there, but who else?
