Could Susanna Reid be about to quit GMB? This is apparently what show bosses fear, according to an insider.

Breakfast TV favorite Susanna is said to be “very concerned” about declining ratings.

It comes after the show overtook BBC Breakfast in the ratings war for the first time shortly before Piers Morgan left.

They said: “She is very concerned about the drop in ratings since Piers was removed and bosses are concerned that unless they can recover, she will start considering her options next year.”

They added: “It is no coincidence that, as a result of this conversation, Piers was approached.”

What has Piers been approached about?

Piers Morgan told the newspaper in another interview that he was approached about returning to the show by a third party.

He left in March following an argument with Alex Beresford over the Duchess of Sussex.

Piers revealed, “They reached out – there were approaches. Never say never.”

Confident as always, Piers also felt he could bring GMB back to the show’s sky-high ratings during his tenure at the helm.

“I have no doubt that I could bring the notes back to where I left them – but the doubt is that anyone would be allowed to do it this way again?” He asked.
